Dr. Rosita Fibbi, doctor in political sciences, studied in Rome, Zurich and Geneva. She is now Senior Lecturer at the University of Lausanne teaching Sociology of Migration.
As Senior Researcher and Project manager she works at the Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies of the University of Neuchâtel.
Her main research topics are: school and labour market integration of second generation, discrimination on the labour market for second generation youth, intergenerational relationships and elderly migrants. She also studied migration policy, migrants' associations, and the emergence of collective actors among migrants in Switzerland.
