In July 2013, the Journal Comparative Migration Studies (CMS) accepted our Special Issue Proposal on "Family involvement and educational success of the children of immigrants" (Editors: R. Fibbi, M. Crul & P. Schnell).
The special issue will contain 7 contributions in total, out of which 3 papers include members of the Swiss 'Pathways to Success' Team:
- Introduction: Family involvement and educational success of the children of immigrants (Fibbi, Crul, Schnell & Montero-Sieburth)
- Family strategies for educational success in Albanian families living in Switzerland (Fibbi & Truong)
- Behind the Scenes. Family involvement and educational achievement of second-generation Turks in Austria, France and Sweden (Schnell)
The release date of this special issue is scheduled for Fall 2014.
